My friend Jane asked me if I use a pattern for my blocks. And that got me thinking that really, these blocks are the equivalent of thumbnail sketches, a way of sketching in fabric to work through ideas. I think I started this project to prove to myself that I can do a lot if I consistently work a little every day. But there are more things coming from this that I am enjoying. And oddly, I am not bored with it. A little bit every day.
